At Hotel Arbe we offer our guests a variety of services, focused on enhancing their comfort, providing leisure or relaxation options, reducing the environmental impact of their stay or serving up quality produce and boosting local suppliers.
Geothermal climate control
We have a geothermal climate control system in place. The system comprises nine boreholes sunk to a depth of 100 metres to obtain warmth from the earth. This system allows us both to extract and expel heat, and so provides warmth in winter, but can also be used to cool the rooms during the summer.
Meetings room
We can offer a function room with outstanding views to stage company meetings or events of any kind. The room, with capacity for up to 20 people, has a high-speed Wi-Fi connection and 65-inch plasma screen for presentations. This room is also used as the venue for yoga and meditation classes
Swimming pool
In summer, you can take a dip and freshen up in our swimming pool. When you are in the water, the pool seems to blend with the horizon of the Cantabrian Sea. The ground-floor rooms with sea views have direct access to the pool.
Respect for nature
At the Hotel Arbe we give a thought to respecting the natural world in our day-to-day business. Our priority lies in caring for the environment so we can then enjoy it. We have fitted dispensing systems for environmentally friendly shower gel, shampoo and soap, with EU Ecolabel and Nordic Ecolabel certification. To care for your skin and hair, all free of parabens and preservatives. We also collect rainwater to supply our kitchen garden, producing ingredients that can then end up in our breakfasts. Every year we aim to make a contribution to biodiversity by planting new trees of local species. We have an electric charging point for cars and bicycles, allowing us to promote more sustainable transportation. The solar panels installed in 2023 produce part of the energy we consume.
Massage and sauna
If you are looking for a way to relax, we have a massage and sauna service. Our physiotherapists provide one-hour sessions, after which you can relax in the sauna or thermal lounger available at the hotel. Prior booking is required for this service.
Solar panels
Together with geothermal climate control, solar panels are another of the Arbe's investments to reduce its environmental impact. We take advantage of the sun's rays to provide the electricity our guests use. A stay at the Hotel Arbe is respectful of the environment, and we will continue investing in the future so as to keep minimising our environmental footprint.
Electric vehicle charging
Free charging point for guests with electric vehicles, compatible with the mode 1/2 and mode 3 complete IEC 61851-1 regulations. It has two charging sockets: one 16A Schuko and another 32A Type 2 for up to 22kW.
Organic breakfasts
We squeeze juice every day, serve freshly cut fruit, organic yoghurts, etc. There is nothing like a good breakfast to start the day full of energy. We offer options for all types of allergen, vegan and gluten-free options, all prepared in the traditional manner. Zero mileage produce is always prioritised. Some seasonal produce comes from our own kitchen garden. Every day we bake tarts, cakes and traditional home-made deserts using entirely organic ingredients, free of any genetic modification. Truly natural nutrition and enjoyment is possible.
Secure Biometric Access
The doors to the rooms are opened by a secure biometric access system using your fingerprint, allowing you to return to our hotel at any time, without fear of losing your key.
Minibar
Refrigerated minibar service in all rooms, with soft drinks, water, isotonic drinks, beers… Always to hand at the perfect temperature.
Electric kettles
All our rooms are equipped with an electric cattle and a range of teas, herbal and fruit teas, decaffeinated coffee free of charge… for you to enjoy a moment of relaxation in your own room.
