We enjoy a privileged setting full of tourist attractions, lying within the Basque Coast Geopark, atop the Flysch rock formations. The Basque Country is also home to a gastronomic culture serving up a host of options to enjoy during your stay.
The Flysch or Geopark offers a great way to enjoy both the sea and the mountains.
Flysch: a natural formation created by layers of soft and hard rock. Generated by the constant assault of the ebb and flow of the sea, to form this distinctive structure of eroded layers.
Geopark: a landscape nestled between the Cantabrian Sea and the Basque mountains, covering the municipalities of Itziar, Deba, Mutriku and Zumaia. A place where the sea contrasts with the green pasture. In 2015 the Geopark was declared a UNESCO Global Geopark in recognition of its geological importance. Aside from geology, it boasts hiking trails full of cliffs, hilltops and valleys that will remain etched in your memory.
One of the great attractions of the Basque Country. We have drawn up a selection of gastronomic experiences. We can recommend great restaurants and experiences just a few miles from our hotel.
We offer sporting pursuits to be enjoyed both in the mountains and at sea. Activities are available for both lovers of the sea and those who are keener on the mountains.
We have cultural options available, both near our regional cities and in the surrounding area.
Here we provide a number of telephone numbers to help you get around between the hotel and nearby areas.
